The head joint, foot joint and body are made of mopane wood. The head joint is hand carved and finished by Andrew Oxley. The lip plate is wooden and the mechanism is silver plated. The flute has open half offset G keys with an E mechanism and a C foot.

A cherry wood case with soft purple lining and a padded black canvas TJ case cover with shoulder strap are included, as well as a cleaning cloth with wooden cleaning rod.
