A Reed Performer prevents metallic and nasal sounds on weaker reeds and helps to extend the playing time of quality reeds that are at the end of their life.

Reed Performers are reusable and are applied to the bent part of the reed.

It eliminates parasites and stabilizes weak reeds, giving them a warmer, rounder sound.
With good quality reeds, using them extends the life of the reed in general and helps to extend the playing time of a reed, for instance during a concert.
With synthetic reeds, a Reed Performer gives a rounder sound in all registers, while at the same time providing better adhesion to the ligature.
