The Classic reeds for saxophone are extremely durable. Based on the first Légère prototype, the reed produces a darker, focused sound. The thicker tip provides projection and delivers a full, rich and percussive sound.
The Classics are more percussive and have fewer overtones than the Signatures, making them ideal for brass bands and large ensembles.
