The Vandoren BD Black Diamond mouthpieces feature a new internal and external design, are highly responsive, and deliver a round, full sound while requiring less airflow.
Especially in the clarinet's upper register, the sound of these mouthpieces is rich in depth and color. Intonation and volume are optimally balanced for both staccato and legato playing.
Vandoren developed the Black Diamond 13 series specifically for American clarinetists using the A440 pitch.
