The Vandoren Black Diamond bass clarinet mouthpiece features a unique internal and external design. This innovative design offers the musician a highly responsive mouthpiece and produces a very round and full sound, requiring less air.
Especially in the upper register of the clarinet, the sound is rich in depth and color. Intonation and volume are optimally balanced for both staccato and legato playing. Vandoren recommends V21 series reeds for this mouthpiece, in gauges 3 to 3.5.
