Légère Classic European Scrape oboe reeds are ready to play out of the package and never need to be moistened. The design provides a warm, centered sound with easy projection.

All reeds are made with an initial gap between 0.68-0.72mm, but this will change after the reed has been played. The total length of the reed is 69.8-70.2 mm and plays at 440-442 Hz, depending on the placement in the reed case.

They never need to be soaked and are not affected by weather conditions or humidity.

Ease of playing is why these reeds can be heard in some of the most prestigious orchestras and on stages and recording studios around the world.
